When you come for your first session, I will spend time listening to your baby's journey so far & gather information about the issues that have led you to seek help. I am passionate about working out how I can help and about providing accurate advice.

 

I will ask you about the pregnancy, the birth, the delivery & screen your baby for medical problems.

 

I will then perform an Osteopathic physical assessment of your baby.  I look at the relationship between physical tension and the function of the body. Treatment aims to ease physical tensions & restore balance to the body so that the body can begin to function better.

 

My unique approach to the treatment of babies is very gentle and looks very unspectacular. Treatment is very safe and cannot harm your baby.

 

It is advised that the patient has no active infections or fever when you come in.

 

It is also advised that the patient has fed recently before their appointment. However, bring milk and your changing bag because they are usually needed. There is time for feeding and changing if required.
